LG Electronics Inaugurates New Showroom in Aqaba Playing an Active Role in the Development of the Jordanian Economy
World leading provider of consumer electronics and cutting edge technologies, LG Electronics (LGE), recently launched its innovative product showroom in the portal city of Aqaba.


/Consumer Research News Articles/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, April 04, 2008 - The showroom, which is to feature the latest products from LGE's Digital Appliance and Digital Display divisions, is positioned to cater to Aqaba's residence's increasing demands for technologically advanced products.

The new showroom was officially inaugurated via a celebratory event held on the evening of March 25th 2008. The event was held under the patronage of the President of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) H.E. Mr. Hosni Abu Ghaida and was attended by members of LGE's Management team including General Manager of LGE's Washing Machine Line in the Middle East and South Africa, Mr. Kae Bong Sung, Chairman of the Middle East Complex (MEC), an agent for LGE products in Jordan, Mr. Osama Al Khalili , MEC's Assistant Director for Marketing Mr. Ghazi Farouq and others.

At the welcoming note he gave during the inauguration Mr. Kye Bong Sung said, "We at LGE are proud to witness the official inauguration of this new showroom here in Aqaba. With the real-estate boom that Jordan is currently witnessing, this outlet has been strategically positioned to provide this portal city's many upcoming real-estate development projects with the electrical appliances and technological innovations needed. I am proud to see the high level of development that LGE's operations are witnessing in Jordan and I am confident that this new showroom will successfully adhere to the varied demands of Aqaba's citizens".

The official inauguration ceremony was then followed by a dinner hosted by LGE at the Cote D'or Aqaba branch were attending guests got to converse with LGE's management team and to learn more about the firm and innovative products.
