Double Glazing Helps Reduce Bills
New research shows that double glazing can bring down energy bills.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, January 31, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Britons should concentrate on investing in double glazing in order to cut energy costs, announced a leading price comparison recently. Research by uSwitch.com has suggested that nearly a third of Britons are risking putting themselves into debt because they do not check energy bills to ensure they are accurate.

Energy and Gas companies around the country are already cutting down prices to help the Britons during the current recession but it has been claimed that more can be done to help keep costs down.

There are a number of improvements to the home that help improve energy efficiency, but it is said that some of the best savings can relate to windows and doors. "Consumers use our site to compare local double glazing suppliers," said Les Yates, Marketing Manager at LocalQuoter.net. "One of the main reasons cited for adding double glazing to a home is to reduce costs."

Double glazing can be costly to install but a survey has suggested that over time you will more than make your money back as windows can help cut heat loss by a massive 50% percent - saving around 100 a year on bills.
